The Self-Sacrifice
She teaches Sacrifice. She severed Her own head to feed what was starving.
Chinnamasta is the most radical teaching in all of Tantra — that true power comes from the willingness to give away what you think you cannot live without. She cut off her own head. And she did not die. She became infinite.
This is not martyrdom. This is not the sacrifice religion teaches — where you suffer so others can be comfortable. Chinnamasta's sacrifice is the ultimate act of sovereignty. She gives because she has so much that giving costs her nothing.
She severs her own head — the seat of ego, of identity, of 'I am this and not that.' And from the severed neck, three streams of blood flow — feeding her two attendants and herself. Even headless, she feeds herself. That is the teaching.
Chinnamasta is kundalini itself — the moment the energy breaks through the final barrier at the crown. It feels like death. It feels like losing your mind. Because you are. And what remains is something that never needed a mind to begin with.
The world teaches you to accumulate. To hold. To protect what is yours. Chinnamasta teaches the opposite — that the moment you are willing to lose everything, you discover you are everything. The head was never yours. It was a loan. Return it.
